Here's a brain teaser for everyone today;

 "Almost all emotional imbalance is tied to past experience, past behavior, and our expectations of self and others. When these aspects are let go, the heart and mind are free to be present and to grow beyond the past."
This quote is from, The Book of Stones, by Robert Simmons and Naisha Ahsian, with contributions by Hazel Raven
The one question and aspect I wrestle with is How do we overcome the emotional responses not tied to past experience or behavior? We do have emotional responses which are purely chemical. These reactions are often completely involuntary and not reflective necessarily of the persons mental state or personality when not flooded with these hormones or other such chemicals. I see them as more as a bad design flaw, emotional reactions ALL of our specie or gender must experience without permission ro inclination? Yet those without this slavery to predetermined biological engineering are giving the name of "Sociopath" what if you could feel what you wanted when you wanted it or could deal with it? What if we could reach a state through meditation which could stem or even stop the release of endorphins or hormones in the brain? Most antidepressants and illegal drugs flood the brain with dopamine and serotonin, what if we could be free of this other type of chemical addiction?
